Light pink wedding dress and what colors?

i am going to be married in october on the beach. i have decided on a very pale pink informal wedding dress. i have no clue what other colors to pick. i do know that my reception will also be on the beach and will be tropical themed. for that i am being rather cheap and getting brightly colored decorations from local retailers. can anyone help me decide on flowers and bridesmaid colors? perhaps narrow down my reception colors as well.

Light pink wedding dress and what colors?
Why don't you put your bridesmaids in a bright shade of pink or a raspberry color? I think that would look nice together. Maybe a color similar to this one... http://static.flickr.com/59/174122645_81...

Or, maybe you can have them wear a clover green color.

If you are trying to save some money you could use the Gerbera daisies for flowers. They are an affordable flower...plus, since they are also a fairly big flower it doesn't take much to make one bouquet. The gerberas come in all kinds of colors as well.

Here are a few pictrures....

I hope that this helps! Good luck :)
Reply:gerber daisies would be perfect. they are super durable so if there's a breeze outside you won't have to worry about them not holding up. they come in every color you can image. you could go with pale colors for the ceremony then brighter colors to match the tropical themed reception. Congrats and good luck!
Reply:Darker tones of pink shades..for the pictures. My bridesmaid dresses were light pink. As for the reception all my flowers were white..
Reply:very light green?
Reply:Oh, I love pink SO much! What a lovely choice.

You could try a darker pink for the dresses, also chocolate goes well with pink.

I am having different shades of pink for all my girls dresses.

White flowers would go well with chocolate or pink.

Best of luck to you! :o)
Reply:maroons or lilacs
Reply:how about... stop stressing and just go with your gut!
Reply:rather than the bright cheap direction, I would think about using some of what is already there naturally. Colors including the taupe of the sand the coral of a seashell, the marine blue of the sea, the lavender of the sunset. Perhaps use some sand and seashells and candles for your centerpieces. A few select stems of orchids in white or purple as a bouquet. some orchids in your hair. Sparse, yet economical. You've already got a great venue/reception site, keep it simple and natural... like the waves on the ocean...
Reply:black and baby pink look really good and very modern together. maybe your bridesmaids could wear a simple black dress
Reply:pink and yellow go lovely together. frangipanis match these colours well (although i don't personally like those flowers).

don't go pink and blue - its too baby shower
Reply:The bridesmaids could be a darker pink colour like a fuschia.. very tropical and summery. Or a turquoise?
Reply:Pink and brown are "it" right now. Pale pink calls for a light brown. Perhaps a fawn brown with muted greens. Best wishes!
Reply:go with darker shades of pink or turquoise
Reply:pail green and pail blue

very oceanic
Reply:For flowers, I think dark %26amp; light shades of purple, maybe with some yellow and a little bit of pink mixed in would look really good. And either lavender/purple or yellow bridesmaid dresses?

When I was planning my wedding last year, theknot.com was *really* helpful. If you go on the dress message board and page girls who work pink dresses (I remember seeing some *gorgeous* pics that girls have posted), you should be able to get some great suggestions, and be able to look at their bios and see what you like best.

Good luck! Have fun planning, I miss it so much! :)
