I currently have one tattoo of a fairy on my left shoulder blade and I've been wanting to add to her or at least get another tattoo. My girlfriend's name is Rose and she is Polynesian so I was thinking of getting a rose and a tropical flower behind my fairy... and then as life goes on and I have kids I can get flowers to represent each of them... or if anyone in my life that is important ever passes away (God-forbid) I could get a flower as a memorial so that I could have lots of different flowers behind my fairy going down my back.
Cute or no?
Here is my fairy:

Is this a cute tattoo idea? Flowers???
I think it's an awesome idea! Representing your family through tattoo art is a great way to feel more connected to them without having tacky names inked on you. Plus, only you know what the flowers mean, and if you don't want someone to know what they are for then it's just a bunch of flowers. Good luck with it!
Reply:I love faires! Yours is cute.
Your add ons is a good idea...but continually adding to one tattoo.......where would you go with it, it would eventually have to go on your shoulder........I would think about getting a whole new tattoo instead of adding to the existing one.
Reply:The fairy is very cute, but I think that as time goes on you might get sick of all those flowers. It might get crowded or it might look pretty. Try having someone draw a couple flowers with a marker to see if you like it.
Reply:I think that it sounds great!! I think that as long as you do a tattoo that means something to you than that it all that matters.
Reply:I think its a cute idea, I just wouldn't get too many flowers but a few would be cute. I like the flowers representing important people in your life. I think it is unique
Reply:Uhm, no. Don't.
Reply:UMM DEF. NOT I HAVE A BUCKET FULL OF PUKE RIGHT NXT TO ME WAT WERE YOU THINKING??................................. u drunk when u saw this?
Reply:i think its cute.
