Which spot would be better for a tattoo?

I'm turning 16 this year and am allowed to get a tattoo for my birthday. I want a tropical flower of some kind, but I'm not sure about where to get it. I either want it on my hip bone or on my right shoulder (more on my back than arm). Any ideas? I'm leaning more towards the shoulder since I do want children in the furture and I've heard tattoos on the hip bones tend to stretch out or get stretch marks through them. Thanks for your opinions!

i think that the hip bone is a way cuter place for tattoos, but if you do plan on having kids i would get it on the shoulder. the shoulder is also a very cute place for a tattoo. :]
Reply:Get the tropical flower on kind of the front part of your hip/ lower belly. I don't think that like the one on the back because if your get dressed up for a special occasion it kind of looks out of place. It is probably easier to cover and show off something that is on your hip.
Reply:I vote right shoulder, too, for the reason you gave. While you're young, your tattoo on your hip will look GREAT, but after you have kids it will not look anywhere near as good. :)
Reply:Hip tattoos are said to be a lot more painful as well, so with it being your very first tattoo it may be smart to go with the shoulder.
Reply:Then if you planning on children..get it on your shoulder for sure...%26amp;%26amp; both places are easily covered up if you dont want anyone to see...I have 3 Tats!
